This year's Pinewood Derby was a tremendous
success. Thanks to all the scouts who entered cars
and many thanks to the volunteers who helped setup, run the
race, and operate the concession stand.
Here are some notable facts about the event:
- The concession stand raised almost $400 for
the earthquake victims in Haiti.
- 67 out of 71 scouts participated! (That the
highest participation level since I've been a
leader, 7 year.)
- Every car made it over the finish line
unassisted.
- No one forgot to check their car in Friday
evening
Below are the winners from this year's Pinewood
Derby. Scouts who won a Pack prize are not eligible
to win a Rank prize also. The Artistic prizes will
not be announced until the Blue and Gold dinner.
Trophies for Pack, Rank, and Artistic winners will
be presented at the Blue and Gold dinner.
If you did not pick up your car, you may do so at
the Blue and Gold dinner.
