Blue and Gold Dinner

It’s time once again for our annually Blue and Gold dinner to commemorate the birth of Scouting. This is a special yearly event for scouts and their parents. (Sorry, no siblings) The evening will start with mass, followed by awards, dinner (pizza and wings), more awards, entertainment and much more. This is our most exciting event of the year and should not be missed.

Please have your son in uniform. (Blue school pants substitute nicely for the regular Cub Scout pants.)

Date: Saturday Feb 20, 2010
Place: St. Gabriel’s Gym
Cost: $5 per person (due to Mr. Young by Feb. 6 2010)

Time	Agenda
4:45 PM	Parents drop off scouts in the cafeteria. Parents should head to church for the 5:00 PM mass. The scouts sit separate from their parents during mass. The scouts (and leaders) will proceed into mass after the priests.
5:00  PM	Mass begins.
6:00  PM	After mass scouts and parents remain in the church for the presentation of religious awards.
6:20 PM	Parents proceed to gym and find a table for them and their scouts. Scouts must sit with their parents and the tables will designated by rank. (i.e. Tiger Cub, Wolves, etc.)
6:20 PM	Scouts to head to cafeteria. The scouts will line up for the main procession into the gym.
6:30 PM	Procession into the gym and opening ceremonies. Dinner will follow along with the rest of the evening’s agenda.
9:00 PM	Closing ceremonies.
